We Don't Teach Languages!

Unlike most language summer camps, there are not any classes, books or exams at Naturlingua.

Naturlingua is simply a bilingual experience. Some activities are led in English and others in Spanish. There are no translations, except for the safety rules.

If needed, monitors will help participants on a one to one basis, but they are expected to make an effort to request help from their fellow campers. In fact, that is the main goal of the camp: overcoming the fear of language, breaking linguistic barriers.

It is an investment for the future. It does not matter how much Spanish or English they learn during the Camp, but rather how much their minds open so as to want to learn and use it in the future.

When young people have the opportunity of having fun in another language and making friends from another country, their enthusiams for language will doubtless increase.

Naturlingua is an organization devoted to leisure, non-formal education. Participants develop their social and foreign language skills through organised games and outdoor activities.

A key factor in the proven success of this system is that each participant will be sharing experiences with other young people of his or her own age on a 24 hour basis.
