2008.06.16 -- Federico Sancho's new project

Federico Sancho introduced in Burgos a new Fondo Natural Association project supported by Ibercaja, intended to initiate an environmental restoration and reparation of tracks in spots of high interest from the ecological and cultural points of view, within Atapuerta mountain range. This initiative, designed and held by volunteers and local neighbours, will improve the area current cultural offer, that also includes the well known Atapuerca archaeological sites and The Way of St. James that crosses the mountain range.

2008.02.09 -- Carlos Martínez launches handbook for Leisure Time Monitors

The latest class of Trocha School of Leisure Time Counsellors received, by the first time, a book with the whole theoretical contents of the course, written by Trocha's teachers.

Carlos is Director of Trocha School, one of the most veteran in Aragon, after 20 years of experience.

2008.01.25 -- Julio López Garbayo in Vaughan Town

Julio was one of the 15 Spaniards who lived together with 15 "Anglos" for six days, in Sierra de Gredos (Ávila, Spain), sharing a personal, linguistic and cultural experience.

The 70th edition of this program, run by Vaughan Systems, took place from 20th to 25th of January. English-speaking volunteers from different countries help Spanish improve their English language skills, while they get to know better about Spanish culture.

2007.12.13 -- Julio gave a lecture on Leisure Time Education

Within the framework of a round-table meeting about leisure choices for children and teenagers, Julio López Garbayo took part to introduce Non-Formal Education and Leisure Time Education concepts.

Our Director's participation closed this event, organized by Azajer and hosted by the financial institution Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada.

The other participants were Javier Gallego Diéguez (Government of Aragon), José Vicente Marín Chárlez (Azajer) and José Ángel Oliván (Union of Consumers of Aragon).

2007.12.10 -- Cristina and Julio took part in National Congress on Education

Cristina Oriol and Julio López Garbayo attended this four day meeting, promoted by Spanish Guide Federation. The Congress took place in Artziniega (Basque Country, Spain).

The subject of this encounter was methodology on non-formal, leisure time education according to Guiding Educational Program.

Over 40 participants from all over Spain worked together from 6th to 9th December.

Both Julio and Cristina are members of World Guiding Association.
